Request for Core Support

The Pilot Projects Program (PPP) Core will solicit, review and fund meritorious pilot projects.  In addition, the PPP will provide post-award oversight and evaluation of pilot projects.  Funding, on a competitive basis, pilots will be awarded to promising Junior Investigators (JI), and Established Investigators (EI) transitioning their research program, to conduct innovative, high-quality clinical and translational research pilot projects.

Services provided:

  • Link to PPP Pilot Webinars and training in pilot writing
  • Pilot proposal pre-submission review
  • Assistance finding alternative pilot funds, if not funded by PIKO
  • Link to CEO Core for dissemination
