The NIA Regional Director’s Meeting will provide researchers, faculty, clinicians, and students with information about NIA Leadership and Career Development/Training Award Opportunities. Also, the meeting will have virtual breakout rooms with researchers and faculty members from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and collaborating institutions moderating groups with the Divisions of Aging Biology, Behavioral and Social Research, Geriatrics and Clinical Gerontology, and Neuroscience.

As an offering of the NIA OD, Office of Special Populations, researchers interested in health disparities, minority health, and scientific workforce diversity research, are encouraged to attend. Persons from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and women, are always encouraged to attend NIH-supported activities.
