PIKO Year 4 Pilot Projects Program Call for Abstracts Release Date: Friday, August 4, 2023
The PIKO Pilot Projects Program is announcing a notice of a pilot funding opportunity. A Call for Year 4 abstracts will be released on Friday, August 4, 2023. PIKO is a state-wide infrastructure grant funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (Grant #U54GM138062), with the focus on supporting clinical and translational research at Hawai’i Pacific University, Chaminade University of Honolulu, the University of Hawai’i System, as well as PIKO’s partnering practice-based and community-based organizations.
- PIKO Pilots are for one year, up to $50,000.
- The application is a two-phase process, with an internal review of abstracts of proposed projects and external review of invited full proposals.
- Awarded projects are expected to be funded between August 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025.
